Last weekend I went on a small pub crawl around some lovely pubs in Leeds. This is from North Bar, which is still my favourite over there.

Worked out alright. A bit of butter and Marmite can make any bread taste good, wheat or no wheat.
Today I’m attempting the improbable; I’m trying to bake wheat-free brown bread that tastes good. Here’s the dough before sitting to rise.
